In recognition of SGS’s active contribution and participation in the community, we are honoured once again to be awarded the People’s Association Community Spirit (PACS) Merit Award 2022.
On 18 August, People’s Association (PA) Group Director (Partnership) Mr Kia Siang Wei and his team called on SGS General Director Tay Eng Kiat at the SGS Headquarters.
This August, children from the Soka Kindergarten were involved in learning journeys to various places of interest as part of their on-going purposeful play and project-inquiry based learning to develop their interest, thinking skills and creativity.

Soka Kindergarten celebrates Singapore’s 57th birthday!
On 31 July, SGS General Director Tay Eng Kiat attended a Community Tree Planting event, jointly organised by National Parks Board, Land Transport Authority and Tampines Group Representation Constituency, for the Silver Zone at Tampines Street 81.
This June, our Soka Volunteers Group re-initiated physical community befriending activities that had halted since the pandemic.
