A total of 110 performers from the Golden Lion Dance Troupe, Sunflower Dance Ensemble, Soka Chorus and Soka Junior Choir brought cheer and the festive spirit of the Lunar New Year through a heartwarming concert to some 100 patients and visitors at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) on February 27, 2015—the ninth day of the Lunar New Year.
Some 60 Soka Volunteers Group (SVG) and Student Division (SD) members worked hand-in-hand to accompany 29 clients from SPD (formerly known as Society for the Physically Disabled) for their visit to bustling streets of Chinatown to soak in the festive Lunar New Year spirit on February 5, 2015.

The spirit of volunteerism is very much alive and celebrated as seen in the cheerful smiles and enthusiasm of the 160 Soka volunteers who turned up early at the Soka Youth Centre on the morning of June 16 for a day of learning.
On the morning of January 31, about 40 members of the Soka Volunteer Group (SVG) accompanied 24 beneficiaries from the Society for the Physically Disabled (SPD) on an outing to Chinatown.

On Sunday, August 19, 500 volunteers from SSA gathered in 35 teams of four to six persons and busied themselves with distributing food packs to some 300 families in the vicinity of Lengkok Bahru and Bukit Merah housing estates.
