On August 2, some 1000 students and teachers at Hwa Chong Institution watched the screening of “A Quiet Revolution” during their Economics Lecture. This video, produced by the Earth Council in collaboration with United Nations (UN) Developmental Program and UN Environment Program, with the support of the Soka Gakkai International, focuses on the challenge of becoming active protagonists in the struggle to create a peaceful and sustainable world. It also highlights case studies of ordinary people having the global impact by taking actions at the local level.
