It is about having broad, encompassing respect for all living beings, and building a culture of peace. The Earth Charter is actually about values, the kind of values we as human beings need to cultivate in order to make our continued existence sustainable. It may be considered a guideline for humanity in the 21st century.”

In addition to the exhibition, there were also other activities organized by the National Parks Board, such as the “Paint A Bin” Competition, “Plant A Tree” Programme, “Protect Our Mangrove” activities, and “Passage to Understanding Nature” – guided walks around the park, on that day to promote the awareness of protection and preservation of the environment.
