Soka Kindergarten Graduation 2014

November 1st will go down in history as a special and memorable day for the 111 K2 children of Soka Kindergarten. It was the 21st Graduation Day event held at the SSA Headquarters.

The event started with an astounding gymnastics item presented by all 111 children and another four drama presentations. The first story ‘Princess and the moon’, written by school founder, Dr Daisaku Ikeda, was presented in Mandarin. The other three, presented in English, advocated the importance of kinship, the courage to pursue one’s dreams, the perseverance to win over challenges and the care in saving our environment.

At the ceremony segment the children listened very attentively to a message from Dr Ikeda. Thereafter, each child received a medal that signifies the victories they have achieved throughout their three years education at the kindergarten.

Finally, representatives from each graduating class delivered a Thank You speech and the children presented gifts to the people who have shared this journey with them, in particular their parents.
