Soka Women Lecture 2024 – Lifestyles-based Interventions for the Prevention of Dementia

In line with International Women’s Day, some 400 people participated in the Soka Women Lecture, titled “Lifestyles-based Interventions for the Prevention of Dementia”, held at the SGS Headquarters on 9 March. This lecture, the sixth in its series since 2019, was held in collaboration with the National University of Singapore.

Dr Feng Lei, Principal Investigator and Research Assistant Professor, Department of Psychological Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) and National University Health System (NUHS) shared tips on how one can delay the onset of dementia through adopting a healthy lifestyle. This was followed by an engaging question and answer session.

Ms Agnes Choong, a SGS Women Division shares that:

“Dr Feng has delivered his lecture in a very light-hearted and jovial manner. He also shared his expertise in a very simplistic way for his audiences.

I can share what I have learnt from this lecture with my family members, friends and SGS members who may require or are affected by health issue. ”
