On 26 June 2024, the SVG members went on an outing to the Peranakan Museum with St Luke’s ElderCare elders, together with Skool4Kidz children for an intergenerational programme with the elders.

Calling out to all SGS members aged 18 to 65 years old from Region 4 and 7!
On September 8, the Soka Youth Dance Crew presented a dynamic dance at the official opening of One Punggol integrated lifestyle hub.
On 25 October, the 10th Annual SMU-Ikeda Peace and Harmony Lecture, titled “Bhutan’s Pursuit of Gross National Happiness: Reflections, Challenges, and Its Future” gathered some 250 attendees at the SMU Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium.
On 5 October, some 120 people attended the Soka International School Malaysia (SISM) Admissions Roadshow held at the SGS Headquarters.
On 4 August, some 100 people attended the Soka University of America’s (SUA) Introductory Session held at the SGS Headquarters.
SGS participated in two meaningful events organized by the Racial and Religious Harmony Circles on 26 and 27 October 2024.
On 28 July, SGS participated in the Heartlands in Harmony event at Our Tampines Hub organized by the Racial and Religious Harmony Circles.
On June 20, two representatives from the Regional Police Attache Office in the UAE Embassy, Singapore, visited the SGS Headquarters to deepen their understanding of SGS’s philosophy and activities.
In conjunction with July 3, Mentor and Disciple Day, and in commemoration of the 72nd anniversaries of the Young Men Division and Young Women Division’s formation days, which fall on July 11th and July 19th respectively, over the course of two weekends on July 22 to 30, the vibrant youth of SGS came together for tri-regional gatherings.
On 20 May, SGS youth volunteers came together to participate in a beach clean-up activity at Changi Beach. Their collective efforts to contribute to a cleaner and greener environment led to the collection of an impressive 18 kg of waste in one morning! Well done, youth!
The theme for Chingay 2023 has been set as “Embrace Tomorrow”! In addition to the SGS Choir Groups who will be putting up a mass choir recital, 80 Future Division (FD) members will also be participating in Chingay 2023. This will mark SGS’s 39th year of participation in the annual event.
Happy SGI Ikeda Kayo-kai Day to all precious Young Women Division members!
On 12 August, SGS Fife and Drum Corps put up a spirited and rousing performance at the Pasir Ris-Punggol National Day 2023 at One Punggol integrated community hub in the presence of some 3,000 audience.
